Emma Kayser Rose was the wife of Ralph Dean Rose. They had 4 children: Ralph Jr., Clarence Dean, Marcella Clara, and Alice Carolyn. In the 1920 she worked in a factory looping hoes and by the 1930/40 period she worked as a dressmaker at a local factory in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana. After Ralph died in 1941, Emma married Ervin Hauptmeyer; again being widowed when he died in 1963.
