Weldon Ray Atteberry
date of birth January 18 1951
date of death April 18 2014

Ray was peacefully released back into the loving arms of God on April 18, 2014. Ray was proud to be an eagle scout and loved to be outdoors in nature. He was passionate about water skiing, sailing, cycling, tennis, hiking and camping. He was crazy about cars! He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business (finance) from San Jose State University. His two children Hans and Hannelore meant the world to him!

Ray was a natural problem solver – a talent he used in his work as a Team Lead at CompuCom and in all areas of his life. He diligently maintained and upgraded his cars and he enthusiastically designed and built a greenhouse for his wife. He was a real ‘people person' and made friends everywhere he went. He firmly believed in God. He was reading the Purpose Driven Life and had highlighted these words: " Why is now the best time to express love? Because you don't know how long you will have the opportunity. Circumstances change. People die. Children grow up. You have no guarantee of tomorrow. If you want to express your love, you had better do it now."

Ray leaves behind his wife, Janet, his children, Hannelore and Hans Atteberry, his mother, Dorothy Atteberry and his brothers, Tom and Ron Atteberry.

He was preceded in death by his father William Atteberry.
