Luella E. Miller, age 87, of 1517 South 26th Street, Manitowoc died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.
Luella was born on November 30, 1926 in the Township of Liberty, daughter of the late Arthur and Hertha (Selke) Selle. She was 1945 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On July 2, 1949 Luella was married to Erwin "Sonny" L. Miller at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Erwin preceded her in death on August 14, 1994. Luella worked for 43 years at the Mirro Aluminum Company. She was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church, Machinist Local #516 Auxiliary, Manitowoc Senior Center and her ceramic club. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, baking, cooking and bowling until the age of 81. Grandma Honey's first love was her family especially all of her grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Sandi (Terry) Krajnek, Cato; three grandchildren: Phillip (Toni) Krajnek, Mukwonago and their children: Carter and Ellison Krajnek; Rob Krajnek and his girlfriend: Dale Gustafson, Plympton, MA and their son: Carson Krajnek; Kristin Krajnek and her boyfriend: Joey Donahue, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Hertha Selle; and her husband: Erwin "Sonny" Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Benjamin Schaefer and Rev. Christopher Hoppe will officiate. Burial will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery.
