Donald was born Dec. 10, 1934, in Fond du Lac, son of the late Edward and Leona (Hogan) Kracht. On July 11, 1981, he married Lois Radandt in Manitowoc. He was the former owner of Don's Auto Sales in Two Rivers for 40 years. Don enjoyed racing for years at the 141 Raceway. He was an avid car collector and enjoyed motorcycle riding and snowmobiling. He was an avid Packers fan.
Survivors include his wife: Lois Kracht, Francis Creek; their children: Audrey Nelson; Gerald (Sue) Kracht; Steven Kracht, all of Two Rivers; Barb (Bob) Pokorsky; Gary (Diane) Groelle, of Manitowoc; Todd (fiancé Sandy) Groelle; Dean (Paula) Groelle; Harley (Jill) Groelle, all of Two Rivers; Kay (Kevin) Staudinger, Whitelaw; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister: Dorothy Langman, Two Rivers; one brother: H. James Bruseth and his fiancé, Kathy, Francis Creek. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Patsy Hauch, Evelyn Schindler and Elizabeth Kracht.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010, at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Louis Sievert with burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 3 to 6 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 p.m. led by the Rev. Louis Sievert. Visitation will continue on Monday at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, from 9:30 until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
