Olive Judith Mosher Lanning parents were Silas and Susannah Story Mosher.
05 Sep 1830 Steuben Co NY she married Martin Lanning, son of Edward and Eleanor Vanhorn Lanning.
Their children were: Matilda, Susan Letitia, Zerch M. or Zara, Everitt, Ephraim, and Sarah Eleanor.
Zara M. died 20 Apr 1862 at St Louis MO as a result of a gunshot wound while serving in the Civil War with the B Co 6th IA Vol at Shiloh TN.
Ephraim Silas also died, 23 Jan 1865, while serving in the Civil War from sickness at Sheridan VA.
1850 Martin died in Erie Co NY. Judith moved her 5 children to Chautauqua Co NY. By 1880 she and family had moved to Clarke Co IA where she lived out her life. All census records she is found as Judith versus Olive.
It is possible that she and family were Mormons, no solid proofs, but there was a Mormon Colony in Clarke Co IA 1880's.
