Georgia M. Eiswald, age 75, passed away July 16, 2006. She was born in Bellingham on October 4, 1930 to Harry and Lillian Blaisdell and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1948.

Georgia worked at Georgia Pacific as a tissue inspector until her retirement. She was a member of the Emblem Club at Elk's Lodge #194. She also enjoyed gardening, entertaining, dancing and sports in her younger years and spending time with her family and friends.

Georgia is survived by her husband of 27 years, Martin; daughter Karen and husband Jerry Porter of Bellingham; granddaughters Pamela and husband Peter Wasley of Bellingham; Michelle and husband Sandro Bettin of Bellingham; great-grand-daughters Carmen Wasley of Bellingham, Maria Wasley of Bellingham; great-grandson, Rocco Bettin of Bellingham and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at Greenacres Cemetery at 2 pm. Following interment, a Celebration of Georgia's Life will be held at Jerns Funeral Chapel at approximately 3 pm. Arrangements under the care of Jerns Funeral Chapel
