He was the son of Addison Eli and Mollie (Roberts) Mason and married Fannie Isbell - 14 Mar 1926 - Madison Co., Alabama. His obituary follows:

Charlie Mason, 87, of 383 Old Winchester Road, New Market, died Monday at his residence. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at the New Market Holiness Church with David Jones and Tony Gray officiating. Burial was to be in the Miller Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Mason, a native of Warren County, Tenn., was a retired farmer and a member of the New Market Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife Ruby Mason; seven daughters, Opal Brady, Olga Gray and Patricia Dodson, all of New Market; Avis Satterfield, Rachael Lamb, Carmen Taylor and Deborah Johnson, all of Huntsville; a brother, Eli Mason of Columbus, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
