Marlene "Sissy" Lou Glysch, age 71, a resident of Kindred Hearts, 5005 Vista Road, Manitowoc, met with the Lord Friday morning, Nov. 7, 2008 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Sissy was born Oct. 18, 1937, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Millard and Tillie (Rebarchek) Sharpe. She attended Washington High School, Two Rivers. Sissy loved playing the organ and singing with her daughters. She also enjoyed fishing, playing cards - especially rap poker - and loved cookouts with her family.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Marilyn and Donald Kope, Bernice and Harris Gibeault, and Joe Moravec; her twin brother: Myrl Sharpe; and her beloved cat: Badger.
For the comfort of those who mourn, a prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting Marlene's family.
Marlene's family would like to thank the staff at Kindred Hearts and (private) for the compassionate care that was given to their mother. Sissy was a loving, mother, grandmother and soon-to-be great-grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
