Mr. Gordner was killed by Indians and buried in his own field, currently located near the intersection of Lime Bluff and East Lime Bluff Roads.

George married Eva Susanna Bayer in 1751. She was born in 1736 in Tulpehocken Twp., Berks Co., Pa. to Johann Heinrich Bayer and Maria Elizabeth Zerbe. She passed away in Muncy in 1790. She and George had eleven children.
