Mrs. John Sievert, 97, of 1516-23rd st., Two Rivers, died Wednesday morning at the Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient a week.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two
Rivers, the Rev. James Stamborski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Sievert, nee Teckla Bonk, was born Aug. 12, 1867, at Cleveland, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bonk. She was married to John Sievert at Cleveland in 1886. He preceded her in death June 11, 1935. She was a member of the Altar Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Max of Two Rivers and Edwin of Manitowoc; five daughters, Mrs. Melvin Goodchild, Miss Adeline Sievert and Mrs. Clarence
Bridges of Two Rivers and and Mrs. Leo Vergin and Mrs. Howard Machesky of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three brothers, four sisters, a son and two daughters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
