OBITUARY
PEORIA - Erma D. Greer, 92, of St. Joseph's Home, West Peoria, formerly of Peoria, died at 7:53 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001, in the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center emergency room.
Born Jan. 25, 1909, in rural Yates City to Charles and Hattie Baker Custer Dunton, she married Earl H. Fryer on Sept. 4, 1928, in Peoria. He died in September 1965 in Peoria. She later married Earl N. Greer on April 2, 1977, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Beverly (and Ben) Prevatte of Peoria and Bernetta ''Burt'' (and Pat) Fryer of Mapleton; three sons, Earl Greer, Howard Greer and Ace Greer, all of Peoria; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Dorothy Fryer; four brothers; and four sisters.
She was a member of Bible Christian Church in Peoria.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. The Rev. Dean Grant will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Home.
