Weggo F. Nagel, 83, of 1920 Madison St., Two Rivers, a retired longtime department head at Hamilton Industries Two Rivers, died late Friday afternoon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Nagel was born at Copenhagen, Denmark, Sept. 7, 1890, a son of the late William and Carrie Thompson Nagel. He was a year old when the family brought him to Neenah. He came to Two Rivers during World War I and had been employed at the Hamilton firm until his retirement at 65. He was a member of St. Luke Court No. 1637, Catholic Order of Foresters. He married the former Laura Beth at St. Luke Church Feb. 9, 1915. She preceded him in death March 6, 1963.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma English of Two Rivers; two brothers, Chester of Escondido, Calif., and Oscar Nagel of Neenah, and 13 nieces
and nephews.

Friends may call at Klein & Stangel, Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 3 p.m. Sunday where memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m.
