Hansen, Leland M. "Lee"

Leland M. "Lee" Hansen, age 79, formerly of 2528 - 36th Street, Two Rivers died Sunday afternoon October 9, 2011 at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.

Leland was born June 24, 1932, in Green Bay, son of the late Ben and Florence (Barth) Hansen. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1953. On September 22, 1956 he married the former Donna Trybeck in Manitowoc. They recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Lee was a member of the Two Rivers Fire Department retiring in 1988. He was Secretary of the Monday Night Bowling League for 20 years, ran one of the first charter boats in Two Rivers called the "Ron Lee", was Secretary for the February Club for many years, and part owner of the Stop & Dock Marina.

Survivors include his wife: Donna Hansen, Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-laws: Holli and Tom Schoshinski, Lindenhurst, IL. Brenda and Eric Schultz, Francis Creek; three grandchildren: Kristi Lee Hansen, Sammuel Lee Schultz, Zachary David Schulz; two step grand-children: Jamie (John) Freier, Cara Schoshinski; one step great-grand-daughter: Charlie Jo Freier; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Alan (Barb) Hansen, Donald (Sandv) Hansen, and Wayne (Janet) Hansen. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Myrtle Trybeck.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct 12, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Leland's name ot the National Parkinson's Foundation or the donors choice.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northland Lodge and the nurses at Hamilton Care Center for their care, compassion, and support shown to Leland and his family.
