His obituary printed in the Newport Daily News (RI) on 12 Jun 1961 says he lived in NYC and died at Regent Hospital in NY after a long illness. Son of Mrs. Maitland Armstrong of "Kingscole" on Bellevue Avenue and the late Edward Maitland Armstrong. Survived by his wife, his mother, a brother, David King Armstrong of Compton, CA and a sister, Mrs. Anthony Barclay Rives of Cobham, VA.
