Deborah Cannon Gause was born January 12, 1957 in Bountiful, Utah to John and Arvetta Cannon. She was the youngest of seven children.

In 1975, she met the love of her life, Kelly Gause. They married two years later on September 9, 1977. Their family grew as she gave birth to their three children.

Debbie was a hardworking woman. She retired from Sam's Club after twenty years of service as a team leader in 2002. Once she retired, she became a full-time caretaker of her baby girl, Cassie, until her passing. She became a loving nana to her three grandchildren.

Deborah was determined, strong, and a fighter; overcoming so many health issues to be with us. She now joins her parents, brothers, and her baby girl.

She was an amazing, personable, caring woman who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Kelly; daughter, Mindy; son, Chad; daughter-in-law, Tawni; and three grandchildren, Lesly, Daymeon, and Trey. She is also survived by her three sisters, brother, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Arvetta Cannon; two brothers; and her daughter, Cassie.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, where friends and family may visit on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
