Dorian had lived in the Marlow area since 1926; she was a farmer, founder of Dorian’s Foods in 1957 and the owner of the Midway Market Fruit Stand since 1957. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, quilting, cooking and playing and teaching piano.
Dorian was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Rush Springs.
Survivors include, son, Verlon “Sonny” J. Coffee of Marlow, Daughter, Joyce Giles of Marlow, 4 Grandchildren Lisa Coffee-Smith and husband Sean, Laura Coffee Schuster and husband Carl, Elizabeth Ann Giles and husband Allan Stephen Giles, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 brother, John C. Maddox of Oklahoma City, Many relatives and dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson-John Maddox Giles and several siblings.
Services were held at Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, August 29, 2005 at 2:00p.m. With Rev. David Hale.
