Evelyn Arlene Holinbaugh, 92, of Howland Twp. passed away peacefully at 2:40 PM Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1918 in Niles the daughter if Arnold and Katie (Shoemaker) Fee. A lifetime area resident, she was a 1936 graduate of Howland High School where she lettered in basketball. Evelyn was employed as a clerk for 27 years at Carlisle's Department Store in Niles. A loving and devoted homemaker, she was a long time member of the Howland Community Church and she enjoyed sewing. Her husband, Kenneth J. Holinbaugh, whom she married March 22, 1938, preceded her in death in 1964. She will be sadly missed by her 3 sons, James L. Holinbaugh of Newton Falls, Gary R. (Clara) Holinbaugh of Joshua, Texas, Ralph E. Holinbaugh of Howland, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister Theda Dort and by a daughter-in-law Linda A (Herrod) Holinbaugh in 2007. Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday May 1, 2010 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 12:30 PM until service time. The Rev. Dr. Brian Byrne will officiate. Interment will be in Howland Twp. Cemetery.
