Funeral services for Constance R. (Kout) MacMeeken, 61, of Junction City, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington St. The Rev. Patty Brown-Barnett of First United Methodist Church will officiate. (Mrs.) MacMeeken died April 22, 2003 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.

She was born Feb. 15, 1942, at St. Joseph, Mo., daughter of Murlyn and Lucille (Ryan) Kout. On March 5, 1988, she married Bruce J. MacMeeken at the Fort Riley Chapel; he survives.
She worked for the Junction City Police Department as a dispatcher/trainer from 1985 to 1997. Before retiring in 1998, she worked as a customer service representative for Junction City.

Survivors include her mother, of Topeka; four sons, Christopher Nabus of Parkville, Todd Nabus of Louisburg, Shawn Nabus of Dublin, Ga., and Randy Nabus of Junction City; one step-son, Ronald MacMeeken of Wichita; one step-daughter, Darlene Dill of Junction City; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and her Dachshunds, Madchen and Sassy.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Larry Kout.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at Johnson Funeral Chapel.
Casket bearers will be Christopher Nabus, Todd Nabus, Shawn Nabus, Randy Nabus, Kurt Nichols and Chuck Leithoff. Music will be provided by organist Vaudene Fields and vocalist Jim Koller.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Centralia Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Law Enforcement Memorial, c/o Junction City Police Department, 210 E. Ninth St., Junction City, KS 66441 and/or Junction City Firefighter's Association Local No. 3309, 700 N. Jefferson St., Junstion City, KS 66441.
