"James M. Gillian, a 44-year area resident and retired bank manager, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006 at his home in Middletown. He was 58.

The son of James M. Clicks and Ida Ruth Akins Gillian, he was born May 19, 1947 in Dothan, Ala.

He was a Viet Nam Navy veteran.

Survivors include one son, Rashan Gillian of Pensacola, Fla.; five brothers, Dr. Terry Gillian and wife Karen of Fresno, Calif., Dennis Gillian of Middletown, Robbie and Ricky Gillian both of Charlotte, N.C., Kimm Gillian of Boston, Mass.; one sister, Holly Jones and husband Lawrence of Kissimmee, Fla.; many nieces an d nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen. The Rev. Hezekiah Austin will officiate.

Interment will follow in the cemetery.
