Nicholas Beth, 65, died early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Weggo Nagel, Two Rivers. Death was due to heart disease.
He was born in Two Rivers, Feb. 23, 1872 and spent his entire life there. In his youth he was employed at the old pail factory and for the past 25 years had been employed at the Hamilton Manufacturing company. Forty-five years ago the married Miss Mary Lamach.
The survivors are the widow, four children, Mrs. Weggo Nagel, Mrs. John Williams, and Roland, all of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Erwin Hoffman, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. John Rollinger, Evanston and Mrs. Henry Kern, Chicago; and two brothers, Charles of Two Rivers and Fred of Chicago. There are three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Klein and Stangel Inc. chapel at Two Rivers at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and from St. Luke's Catholic church at 9 a.m. The Rev. C. V. Hugo will officiate and interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
