ELKTON, Md.-Earl Whitaker Quein, 77, of 206 Locust Lane, died of a heart attack Sunday in Union Hospital.
Mr. Quein was a sales representative at Sears, Roebuck and Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He then worked as a salesman for Bayshore and Williams Chevrolet dealerships in Elkton, retiring in December.
He was past president of the Elkton Little League.
He is survived by his wife, Mae; a son, Air Force Maj. Dennis of West Germany; two brothers, George of Bradenton, Fla., and Bayard of Bridgeton, N.J.; three sisters, Thelma Donnelly of Newport News, Va., Mabel Favreau of Kansas City, Mo., and Eleanor Turner of Philadelphia; and a grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Hicks Home for funerals, Bow and Stockton streets, where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Union Hospital Building Fund, Elkton, Md. 21921."
