DOROTHY ALICE BAXTER, age 88 of Burton, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place per Dorothy's wishes. Dorothy was born March 21, 1926 in Fort Yates, North Dakota. She spent her life as a devoted homemaker and loved her family dearly.
Dorothy is survived by her step-daughter, . . . ; grandsons, . . . ; granddaughter, . . . great granddaughter, . . . ; special niece, . . . ; and many other special nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernard of over 40 years; step-daughter, Rosemary Baxter; and several brothers and a sister.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to her neighbor and good friend Sherry. A private inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
