Strappello, Harry G. 57, Richland Twp. died May 18, 2000, at home. Born Sept. 7, 1942 in Windber, the son of the late Anthony and Eleanor Ruth (Seese) Strappello. He was an Army veteran who served in Germany.

STRAPPELLO – Harry G., 57, Richland Township, died May 18, 2000, at home. Born Sept. 7, 1942, in Windber, son of the late Anthony and Eleanor Ruth (Seese) Strappello. Brother of Judy Boyles, Johnstown; and Edward Arthur Yaminitsky, Stoystown. Nephew of Joyce, wife of Louis Schrivner, Manassas, VA.; Sylvia Cox; and Chuck Seese, both of Johnstown; also survived by two nephews and numerous cousins. Graduate of Scotland School, Chambersburg, where he lettered in football. Army veteran, serving in Germany. Graduate of IUP, with BS and master’s degree in physics. Recently retired from U.S. Department of Commerce Patent and Trademark office, after 26 years’ service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at The Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Ronald St. Clair officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
