Mr. Figel passed away at the age of 84, and resided in Monroeville. He was survived by his devoted wife of 62 years. Loving father of a son and two daughters. He will also be missed by a granddaughter,a grandson, his sister-in-law, and his many nieces and nephews. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an accomplished architect, with many building projects that he was involved in, in the Pittsburgh area. His Funeral Service was held at St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church, in Greenfield. The service is called The Byzantine Office of Christian Burial, with Divine Liturgy.
