Holden -- Nellie Viola Kombrink, 93, Holden, died June 10, 1987, at the home. She was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa, and lived near Holden most of her life. Mrs. Kombrink was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holden. Survivors include her husband, Herman Kombrink of the home; a son, Francis G. Brown, Joplin, Mo.; two daughters, Forest White, Holden, and Anne Needham, Pottsboro, Texas; three brothers, John Sheets, Goldfield, Iowa, Charles Sheets, Creighton, Mo., and George Sheets, Harrisonville; a sister, Eula Hutchinson, Creighton; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Ben Cast & Son-Wood Chapel, Holden; burial in the Holden Cemetery.
