Hilary L. Boettger, age 85, formerly of 1709 Monroe St., Two Rivers, now a resident of Hamilton Memorial Home, died early Monday morning, September 12, 1994, at the home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 1994, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

He was born August 24, 1909, in Two Rivers, son of the late Herman J. and Anna Blattler Boettger. He attended St. Luke's Parochial School. Mr. Boettger served with the United States Army Air Corp. from 1942 to 1945. He was discharged as Staff Sergeant. On September 15, 1947, he married the former Mary Beitzel in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death May 19, 1987. Hilary retired in 1972 as a cabinetmaker from Hamilton Industries. He was an avid bowler and was State Champion in 1941.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann and David Cunningham, Middleboro, Mass., Susan Boettger, Syracuse, N.Y.: two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Mark; two brothers and one sister-n-law, Arnold Boettger, Eugene, Oregon, Edwin and Eleanor Boettger, Two Rivers; other relatives and friends also survive. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Arthur and one sister, Beatrice.

Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, from 5-8 p.m. TODAY. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
