wife of floyd k. warrick-( I met her in 1959 prior to her death in a 'home', in Nebraska..i was very little but i remember it clearly.)She was happy but had dementia.
She was from a slave holding family in Virginia-
Nancy Warrick was mother to 11 children.
5 girls survived to adulthood-

Ruby Virginia( who went by Virginia because a woman of ill repute was named Ruby in town and she did not want to be mistaken for her! she told me this in 1996 before she died)Virginia was married to Lowell Welsh who founded Nebraska Tech.
i met Viginia in May of 1996 when i wnet to Nebraska for my father's 75th birthday. She was in a home then, but really funny and very nice.SHE was the person who told me the story about why she went by Virginia and not Ruby!
