Floyd was a real frontiersman, and participated in all that came with it. he was known to have shot many 'indians' and kill at least one cheat in a card game. When Floyd married Nancy Ellen Phillips( i met her in a nursing home in 1960 before her death..i still remember her though i was little at the time) of Virginia he became a pillar of the Methodist Church and thankfully hung up his guns. He fathered many chidren, and had 5 girls survive to adulthood.
