Mrs. Thelma P. Acker, 65, of 49 Townsend Street, Lunenburg, died October 12, 1984, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born at First South, she was a daughter of the late Harris and Mary (Mason) Haughn.

She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg.

She is survived by her husband, James W.; a son, Franklyn J., Lunenburg; two sisters, Madelyn (Mrs. Perley Lohnes), First South; and Mrs. Marian Allen, Bridgewater; a brother, Donald, Lunenburg; and two grandchildren.

The body rested in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. Funeral service was Monday, October 15, in Central United Church, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating.

Pallbearers were Wallace Corkum, Milton Jennings, Frank Briand, Wilson Richards, Bill Dauphinee, and Elda Spidle

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
