Decatur - Lillian A. Pierce, 72, of Decatur died 6:03pm Thursday (Feb 18, 1993) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 2:30pm Monday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 1pm Monday until services. Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery, Niantic.
Mrs. Pierce was born July 4, 1920 in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of William Henry and Lena Mary Edwards Allee. She was formerly employed at Lincoln State School as a nurse. She was also a cook at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She married Murry W. Pierce Sr. in 1939.
Surviving are her husband; children, M W Pierce Jr. and wife, T C Pierce and wife, C K Munson and husband; sisters , Wilma Allee of Belleville; Mary Adams of Camp Hill, Pa; Monita Rankin of Collinsville; Martha Koudelka of Belleville; Doris Oliver of Collinsville; Teresa Alma Marie Kuyat of Chicago; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. vjm
