Bernice A. Allie, age 80, a resident of the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, died Thursday morning, December 11, 2003 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Thomas, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Bernice was born Nov. 18, 1923 in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Anton and Priscilla (Klar) Bonin. She attended St. Paul's Catholic Elementary School, Washington Junior High School and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On Oct. 20, 1943 she was united in marriage to Donald J. Allie at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1974. Bernice was employed for many years at Schroeder's Department Store in Two Rivers until her retirement. She was a long-time member of the Ladies of Holy Redeemer, Two Rivers Senior Center and loved to play dartball.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Kathleen and Robert Shimon, Jean and Peter Koch, and Laurie and Randall Green, all of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Ryan Koch, Lisa (Bret) Tushaus, Craig (Tammy) Kohls, Kim (Camryn) Eis, Kevin Allie, and Jessica and Jeremy Green; four great grand-children: Haley and Turner Tushaus, and Jordyn and Casey Eis. She is further survived by eight brothers and sisters: Hildegarde Sieracki, Charlotte Sobel, Judy Wind, Donald (Janet) Bonin, Richard Bonin, and Mary Ellen Bonin, all of Manitowoc, Thomas (Bonnie) Bonin, Williamsburg, Va., and James (Dorothy) Bonin, West Allis; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard (Margaret Allie, and Winnie Kasten, all of Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Violet Edinger.

Friends may call at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers after 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 until the time of mass at 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
