Edith Barnes, 87, of 2401 First St., Eldorado, died 5 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2003.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Arthur Foster officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2003, at the funeral home.
She was born June 2, 1915, in Eldorado to Robert and Alice (Smith) Herrmann.
She was a beautician.
She is survived by a son, John R. (Delores) Barnes; a brother, Robert Herrmann of Wayland, Mich.; a grandchild, Angela Doerge; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother; four sisters; and one grandchild, Johnny Bob "Jay" Barnes.
