Charles O. Anderson, 76, of 1622-17th St. Two Rivers, a retired longtime Kansas Highway Dept. employee, died unexpectedly at Menomonee Falls Community Hospital Monday afternoon. Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 11, 1894, at Claysville, Mo., a son of the late Louis and Isabel A. Waters Anderson.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. James Stamborski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

He married the former Agnes Befort at Ellis, Kansas, after which the couple made their home at Norton, Kansas, where he was employee of the State Highway Dept. until his retirement in 1962 when the family moved to Two Rivers.

His wife died at Two Rivers the same year. He then married Mrs. Mary Klein at Two Rivers, June 27, 1970.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Mrs. William Kreuger of Two Rivers; two sons, Clarence and Clyde of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Matteson of Ellis, Kansas, and Mrs. Irene West of Oklahoma; three brothers, Raymond of Burlington, Kansas, James of Ellis, and Udell Anderson of Lincoln, Neb., eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where memorial services will be at 8:15 p.m.
