Nancy Lee Frey (Dayton), 69, of Edgerton, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 3, 2014, surrounded by family.
Nancy was born on March 12, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Della Ione and Roy Dayton. She was married to Joseph Lee Frey for 40 years, until his passing in 2005. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, and Grammy to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Leanne Williams of Overland Park, David (Ruth) Frey of Kansas City, Joey (Erin) Frey of Leawood, and Tammy (Dale) Morgan of Edgerton, sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Ron (Jo Ellen) Dayton of St. Paris, OH and Leon "Ed" (Diane) O'Dell of Lee's Summit. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother, Roy Dayton, two Sisters, Lucille Davis and Bernice D'Orazio, and a grandson, Jacob Matthew Frey.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th, 6-8:00 PM, at Johnson County Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 10:00 AM, also at Johnson County Chapel. Entombment will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
