Delores LeLene "Dee" Adams, 84, of Burkburnett, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the First Methodist Church of Burkburnett with Rev. Liz Talbert and Rev. Joe Coombes officiating. Interment will follow at the Clara Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Delores was born on March 15, 1930, in Electra, Texas. She and Claude H. Adams were married on November 27, 1952, in Electra. Delores worked at First National Bank of Burkburnett for thirty years prior to her retirement. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Burkburnett.
Delores was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Williams, of Electra and daughter, Dee Ellen Dilbeck, of Burkburnett.
Delores is survived by her husband, Claude H. Adams, of Burkburnett; son, Mark Adams and wife, Viola, of Dickson, TN; son-in-law, Bobby Dilbeck; grandsons, Reed Dilbeck, and Ross Dilbeck; step-granddaughter, Amy Moorehouse; step-grandson, Scott Paynter; step-granddaughter, Bobbie Harrison; and great-granddaughter, Ellen Dilbeck.
