HALE ADAMS, METAL FIRM HEAD, DIES
Hale D Adams, 70, president of Adams Pressed Metals Corp died Wednesday at 11:50 PM at Cottage Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 3:30 PM at Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel, where friends may call Friday evening. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was born October 11, 1894, at Grinnell, IA, and moved with his family to Galesburg when a young man. He attended Knox College. He was a member of Central Congregational Church, Vesper Masonic Lodge and during World War I was an Army captain in France.
He was married in 1929 to Glenrose Dungan, who died in 1949. In 1951 he married Fern Arneson, and she died in 1961. He lived at 1374 N Academy St.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David Briick of Elk Grove; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Moss of Newport Beach, CA, and two grandchildren.
The family said memorials may be made to the Central Congregational Church Memorial Fund.

Pallbearers were Dale Ruedig, Dr. Walter Pacey, Dr. RH Fell, Hugh Courson, Fred Gummerson and Louis Ubben.
