Peter J Demske, 69, of 3429 N Jefferson Rd and a lifelong resident of Larkin Twp died at 6:10 pm Sunday in Midland Hospital where he had been a patient since last Tuesday. He had been ill for about a year. (Stomach Cancer) He ws born Jan 17, 1887 in Larkin and retired from The Dow Ch Co about 4 years ago. He had been employed in Dowicides plant. He was also engaged in farming during part of his life. His wife Josephine died in 1947. He is survived by 3 sons, 10 grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Funeral will be held at St Brigid's and burial in Calvary cemetery.
Mother Mary Demski is buried in Fisherville, haven't found it yet.
Peter and Josephine had a son Vanarsdale B Demski, he died 8/17/2000. He was cremated and his ashes scattered on the family farm which was his wishes.
