Fred Daryl Britt went home to be with his lord and savior on May 30, 2014. He passed away at his home in Central Point, Oregon.

Fred was born in Portland, Oregon on October 26, 1945, to Burl and Ruby Britt. He graduated from Medford Senior High in 1963, and in 1987, he married Annie Turner at Applegate Christian Fellowship.

Fred enjoyed the outdoors. He had a long career in the timber industry, working as a timber faller, heavy equipment operator, and a project manager for Croman Helicopter. In his free time, he liked spending time huckleberry picking, hunting, fishing, trail-riding on his side-by-side, snowmobiling, and watching his granddaugher Megan play softball. He was active in many clubs, including Wilderness Trails and Rogue Snowmobile, and he was a Board Member of Trail of Life for Young Men. Fred was also a lover of Jesus Christ, and he was an active member of Mountain Church.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife Annie, his daughter Kim Ayres (Gary) and granddaughter Megan; son Jim Britt (Kim) and granddaughter Taylor; son Chad Bostwick and grandchildren Bradley, David, Samantha, and Ryleigh; son Drew Bostwick (Anna) and grandchildren Skyler, Aric, Bronwyn, and Val; sisters Marlene Britt of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, and Nancy Craig of Central Point, Oregon; brothers Gary Britt of Medford, Oregon, and Burl Britt Jr. of New York, and many nieces and nephews and one great-granddaughter. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Burl and Ruby Britt and brothers Oliver Britt and Tom Britt.
