Catherine was actually born in 1881, on July 8, in Cap D'Espoir, Gaspe, Quebec, Canada. I noticed that her son provided the information for the death certificate. I can provide the baptism record in French if you'd like.

I am not closely related to her (5th cousin once removed), but I've been working on the Kerouac family tree for decades, and I finally figured out the connections for this branch in the past month.
