After an illness of several months, Frank Babich Sr., 71, of 1719 Lincoln St., Two Rivers, died at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital Sunday morning where he had been a patient since March 17.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Babich was born in Austria, Dec. 13, 1885, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Babich. When he was 17 years old he immigrated to this country, settling first in Pittsburgh, Pa. After several years at Gary, Ind., and Sheboygan he moved to Two Rivers 39 years ago where he married the former Rose Gerlach Nov. 29, 1916. He was a veteran of the Hamilton Mfg. Co. retiring several years ago.
Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Ploor? of Two Rivers, Mrs. Delores Thompson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Charles Spooner of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sons, Frank of Amboy,? Mich?, Andrew of Minneapolis and George of Two Rivers, and 17? grand children.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this Monday morning where the rosary will be recited at 7: p.m. Tuesday.
