Ada Manetta Hutcherson, 89, Died March 26 in Pleasanton.
She was born Sept. 18, 1915, in Oakland. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in foreign trade and Spanish. She worked as a business translator and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, walking and tennis.
She is survived by daughter Gina Tannahill of Pleasanton; son George Hutcherson of Portland; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George Hutcherson; brothers Bill Manetta and Albert Manetta; sisters Laura Manetta, Vera McPhail and Flo Varney; and parents Joseph and Clara Manetta.
