Charles McDonald Rites to Be Held At Rockville
Funeral services for Charles G. McDonald, 73, retired Federal employee, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Colonial Funeral Home in Rockville, and interment will be in Rockville Union Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald, who had been in ill health for several years, died Saturday night at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John G. McDonald, Rockville. He was the son of the late Capt. John McDonald, who once represented the Sixth Maryland District in the United States House of Representatives.
Mr. McDonald retired about four years ago from the Veterans Administration in Washington, where he had been an employee for 20 years. He is survived by his son, three sisters, Mrs. George G. Bradley and Miss Jackie McDonald, both of Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Jessie Childress, of Washington.

Funeral services for Charles G. McDonald, 73, retired employee of the United States Veterans’ Administration, Washington, DC, with which he was connected nearly 20 years, were held, yesterday afternoon at the funeral home of W. Reuben Pumphrey, Rockville. The Rev. Charles T. Warner, rector of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Washington, officiated and burial was in Rockville Union Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald died suddenly in the home of his son and daughter-in--law, Mrs. and Mrs. John G. McDonald, Rockville, Saturday night. He was the son of the late Representative John McDonald.
