Bloomington Evening World 09/13/1939

Mrs. Na Tolia Faulkner, 66 years of age, wife of D. W. Faulkner, 308 south Maple street, died at 4 o'clock this morning at the Long hospital in Indianapolis, following an operation, the second within a month. Mrs. Faulkner had been ill three months, suffering from gallstones, and had been taken to the hospital on August 15 for an operation. The second operation was performed Tuesday.

Mrs. Faulkner was a member of the Pentecostal church.

She is survived by the husband; two children, Ruben of Indianapolis and Mrs. Clifford Botkins of this city; five sisters, Mrs. A. C. Greene of Illinois, Mrs. Wood Graves of Newport, Ky[.], Mrs. R. C. Dredderar of Stanford, Ky., Mrs. Elias Brandemburg and Miss Lou Archer, both of Richmond, Ky., and four brothers[,] J. R. Archer of Newport, Ky., Claude Archer of Richmond, Ky., M. A. Archer of Jellico, Tenn. and Charles Archer of Pheonix [sic], Ariz.

Funeral services are to be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Clear Creek church, and interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Leo Davis will conduct the services.

The body was brought to the Day mortuary and will be taken to the residence at 9:30 a. m. Thursday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Na Tolia Faulkner, wife of D. W. Faulkner, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Clear Creek church. The services will be in charge of the Rev. Leo Davis.

Burial will be in the Clear Creek cemetery and active pallbearers will be John Belcher, James Jordon, Minter Myers, Charles Duncan, Reg B. Stull and Robert Patton. Honorary pallbearers are Lew Dillman, Charles Botkins, Guy Leonard and Wall Pauley. Those serving as flower bearers will be Lois Botkins, Christine Faulkner, Irene McCoy and Bernice Greene.

Mrs. Faulkner died in the Long hospital in Indianapolis Wednesday morning, following an operation.
