Mrs. Harold (Isabel) Christiansen, 80, a resident of Manitowoc Health Care Center does Wednesday morning, April 13.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Christiansen was born April 9, 1903, at Oak Park, Ill., daughter of the late Christ and Olena Halderson Knudsen. As a child she moved with her family to the Clarks Mills area, where she attended school. She was married to Harold Christiansen on May 28, 1921, at Valders. They moved to Manitowoc in 1934, where she has presided since. Her husband preceded her in death April 18, 1973. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Jean Christiansen of Denmark, Roger and Olive Christiansen of Green Bay and Harold Jr. and Bernice Christiansen of Manitowoc; daughters and a son-in-law, Mildred and Dale Zannacker and Delores Siebold of Manitowoc; a brother, Phillip Knudsen of Manitowoc, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two daughters, a brother and five sisters preceded in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek Schlei Funeral Home, Friday and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to First German Evangelical Church.
