L. Dennett Dies at 95
Lily May Dennett, 95, Wichita, mother of Mrs. Robert Bush, Augusta, died Friday at Lincoln East Nursing home in Wichita.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary, Wichita, with graveside services at Dunlap Cemetery, Rose Hill. Rev. Larry Grove, pastor of the College Hill United Methodist Church officiated.
A memorial has been established with the Sedgwick County Heart Assocation.
She was born June 14, 1883 in Boone, IA., to Giles and Julia Baker Strode. She married Jess Dennett who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dennett was a member of the College Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. Joe Wilcox and Mrs. John Yungmeyer, both of Wichita.
