CLEONA -- Joseph E. Dane, 53, 320 Quitatahilla Drive, formerly of Shamokin, died this morning at home.

Born in Shamokin, Mr. Dane was a son of Edward and Lillian (Reeder) Dane. He was graduated from Coal Township High School. He was employed as assistant supervisor of Sterling Drug Co., Myerstown.

He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville, a member of the Lebanon Lodge of Elks, and served as Past Grand Knight and Past Faithful Navigator of fourth degree Knights of Columbus. He was married to the former Mary E. Kohr.

Survivors include the widow and one brother, William, Collingswood, N. J.

Thompson Funeral Home of Lebanon has charge of arrangements.

Cleona - Joseph E. Dane, of 320 Quittatahilla Drive, died Thursday at his home.
He was an assistant supervisor of Sterling Drug Co., Myerstown; a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Annville; past grand knight and faithful navigator of the fourth degree Knights of Columbus, of Lebanon, and a member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Dane; and a brother, William E. of Collingswood, N.J.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Annville. Burial will be in St. Edwards Cemetery, Shamokin.
Christian Burial vigil will be conducted, Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home at 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon
