John Anderson Goans, 74, died last Thursday night. Mr. Goans was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Goans. He married Nancy Lorance and to this union was born one son, who died when an infant.
Mr. Goans is survived by his wife, Nancy; two brothers, Alonzo and Charley Goans, both of Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. Josie Russell of Phillipsburg. Rev. Russell conducted the funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.
Burial was in the cemetery nearby.

The pall bears were R. E Layman, Sydney, Tom, Hand and Sydney, Jr. Barr and Early Lorance.
