James R Fako, 43, of Hampton, died Wednesday, Jan 13 1982, as a result of the Air Florida plane crash in Washington, D C
He was a partner in the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse Company, Pittsburgh
Mr Fako graduated from 1 Kent State University and joined Price Waterhouse in i960 before serving as a lieutenant in the Army from 1960 to 1962. He returned to the firm and later was transferred to its Brussels, Belgium, office from 1966 to 1969
In 1974, he became a partner and had recently served as chairman of the company's National Public Utility Industry Specialist Group
He was active in the board of directors of Kent State University's alumni association as well as the Pittsburgh Council of International Visitors, the United Way of Allegheny County and the American Cancer Society
Mr Fako also was a member of the Pittsburgh Field Club, the Duquesne Club and the McKnight United Methodist Church in Ross
He is survived by his wife Joyce Wright Fako, a son, Bradley J a daughter, Robin A Fako; his parents, Joseph and Mildred Fako Clymer, Indiana County, one sister Janet Wanchisn, and two brothers Lawrence J and Daniel R Fako

Memorial services were held Sunday afternoon in the McKnight Methodist Church, 600 Fox Drive Ross Burial was in Addison Contributions may) be made to the American Cancer Society or the Kent Alumni Fund, Kent, Ohio. Arrangements were made by the Simons Funeral Home, Inc , 7720 Perrv Highway, Ross.
