Age 50, passed away after a lengthy battle with MS. He was a son of Frank J. and Jean R. Fiesler Sabol. Sam was a graduate of Girard Rice Avenue Union High School Class of 1975. He had been employed as treasurer and bookkeeper at the Lake City Borough office. Sam enjoyed playing cards and working on his computer.
Sam was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Rebecca L. Sabol in 1998.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Diann Sabol of Girard; two brothers: Frank D. Sabol, Jr. of Girard and Joseph P. Sabol and his wife Nancy of Fairview; three nieces: Rachael, Nancy and Shelby; a nephew: Frank; and close friends: Calvin Lydic, Chris Widdowson and Dianna and Scott Wilson. Sam is also survived by his beloved dog Vanna.
