AN AGED PILGRIM AT REST - Mrs. Sarah Playter, widow of the late Isaac Playter and one of the early pioneers of Whitchurch, died March 18th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Silas Vernon, Manchester, Reach Tp. and borne by six nephews her body was on Wednesday last quietly laid in the old Friends' Burying Ground, Whitchurch, beside the remains of her last husband (who died fourteen years ago) and those of her many relations, the early settlers of this vicinity. Deceased died at the age of 89 years and 1 day and was the sister of Mr. John Willson of Union St. now the only remaining member of a family of eleven children who emigrated from New Brunswick in 1811.
